Well, it’s been one hell of an emotional roller coaster for us Duke Nukem fans, right? The promise of an FPS sequel to Duke Nukem 3D, then delays, engine changes, more delays and then lawsuits. It never seemed to end.

Thankfully our prayers have been answered and Gearbox have been hard at work, finishing off what 3D Realms had started.

He's been gone a while, but the Duke's coming back at last! Let's hope he brings some highly detailed babes with him!

We understand if many of you can’t trust such an announcement, just yet. But hey, the site isn’t only up…it’s taking pre-orders again…thank god!

The rebirth of the official website, isn’t the only reason why you should get excited about this next-gen classic. New IP owners Gearbox, are to release an exclusive code in every copy of Borderlands: Game Of The Year Edition. Yup, every copy will come with a special code to a Duke Nukem Forever club, that will allow access to a playable demo…before it publicly gets released on XBL and PSN.

You'll soon be able to experience Duke, thanks to the Borderlands GOTY Edition!

Gearbox are currently releasing Borderlands GOTY Edition, for October 15th. The new edition for P33, 360 and PC, will include the bestselling Borderlands game, with all 4 DLC game add-on packs:

The Zombie Island of Doctor Ned

Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot

The Secret Armory of General Knoxx

Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution

The sheer length of Borderlands plus it’s amazing Co-op play, is already more than enough to be classed as a must-buy (especially with it’s great R.R.P of £24.99). Add to this the 4 great add-on packs AND a Duke Nukem Forever playable demo and we wouldn’t be surprised if the release is gold-dust for it’s first 2 weeks on sale.
