Games that run at 120fps on Series X/S

What do I need to get 120fps games running on my Series x?

Along with your Series X or S console, gaming at a lightning 120fps speed will require three more things:

1. A TV that can support up to 120Hz. These should also have at least one 2.1 HDMI port in order to fully take advantage of this.

2. A game that has been coded to support such high frame rates (see game list below).

3. On certain last-gen games, FPS Boost will need to be activated in order for the game to reach 60 – 120fps.

How do I activate FPS boost on compatible games?

* You’ll need to do the following while the game is running, so make sure you’ve saved as you’ll be prompted to restart the game immediately after:

Press the XBOX button while in-game and highlight the games icon. Press the Options button on your pad and select Manage Games and Add-Ons, then Compatibility Options and make sure ‘FPS Boost’ is checked.
