Why You Must Play Mass Effect 3’s Multiplayer

The Mass Effect series could quite easily be the best sci-fi games of all time. But as well as an incredibly deep and compelling story, life-like and superbly developed characters, immersive RPG system and enjoyable combat system, Mass Effect 3 has just added something else to the mix…online multiplayer. So the question is, was this multiplayer extension simply a quick cash-in or is it an enjoyable and addictive experience? Well, we’re pleased to say it’s the latter. We first took to Mass Effect 3 online multiplayer to simply boost our galactic readiness. But after we’d received our “Defender” achievements and completed single player with no regrets (well, maybe we still wish to see other endings) we still found ourselves heading to the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer menu. So what’s so great about it and why should you give it a go? Well, let us give you a break down: Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Characters Rather than the military soldiers we’re all so used to playing as, Mass Effect 3 allows you to choose from most of the species you worked with, were good friends with, had relationships with (you floozy, you) and did battle with. This opens-up a huge selection of characters for you to choose from and each has their own special abilities ranging from superior strength, to stealth cloaks and from frag grenades to special biotic abilities that can render groups of enemies, powerless. Characters (and everything else) do not need to be unlocked in a single player campaign, but do need to be unlocked during multiplayer (see “Incentives”, below). The Weapons in Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer All multiplayer games need their weapons and we’re sure everyone will agree that Mass Effect 3 has the largest (and coolest) selection of sci-fi weapons, ever! You can not only unlock these weapons, you can also upgrade their damage, handling,...

WWE: Will Brock Lesnar Return?

After the most shocking Extreme Rules match we’ve ever seen, (and after Brock demanded ridiculous add-ons to his existing WWE contract) Triple H took it upon himself to step-in and correct Lesnar on his delusional contract agreement made by John Laurinaitis. But during this confrontation, Brock Lensnar attacks Trippe H from behind and breaks his arm. Lesnar then vanishes and a few weeks later, writes a letter informing the WWE that he has quit. So the big question is…where is Lesnar and will we see him in a WWE ring again? We really wanted a Triple H vs Brock Lesnar SummerSlam match. If the story had changed and Lesnar ended up facing off against Undertaker, Randy Orton or Shamus, we’re sure it would still be a SummerSlam to remember! However, a recent UFC event may have left our SummerSlam dream match-ups in serious danger. Brock Lesnar was seen attending the recent UFC 146. Although nothing official was reported from Brock himself, UFC president Dana White, said “Lesnar might be considering a return to the UFC, but nothing is concrete”. Other UFC fighters even suggested that Lesnar’s contract was not exclusive to the WWE. Does this mean Brock can easily pull-out of the WWE whenever he feels he’s “done his part” or does this simply mean that Brock can sell tickets both in WWE and UFC Pay Per Views? The fact that none of this has came from Brock himself, is good for us WWE fans, but does this mean that Brock was simply (and hastily) brought in to pump-up Cena fans for that one PPV, or is Brock simply getting himself media exposure as part of a WWE contract? How would you like to see Brock return to the WWE? Brock is one of the most talented individuals to ever sign a WWE contract. Although we’re fans of UFC...

WWE Pay Per RAW and Smackdown

We’re huge WWE fans here at D4G and there is nothing like sitting down to watch some awesome wrestling and stunt talent on a Monday (WWE RAW) and Friday (WWE Smackdown) night. But although our superstars put on incredible performances, put their bodies on the line week after week (even heading straight back into WWE RAW after a huge pay per view event) and are on the road their entire career, we still can’t help but think there are better ways to get their performances to fans. Lets say that WWE is the only sport you watch. You don’t watch football, you don’t watch racing…nadah. You may even prefer to either rent your movies from a well-known store or download from XBL/PSN. At times, you may even find it hard to get free TV time. Should you be expected to pay a SKY/Cable monthly fee PLUS a SKY Sports add-on cost, just to watch WWE twice a week? Of course not. The Perfect Way To Experience WWE RAW and Smackdown What if we could simply go to WWE.com and pay a small fee to download an episode of RAW or Smackdown? These shows could be made downloadable the day after they air and could even be made compatible with PS3 browsers. Better still, what if we could pay to download individual RAW and Smackdown shows on XBL and PSN? We already pay around £1.80 – £3.00 to download our favourite TV series episodes, so why can’t we do the same with WWE? WWE.com/XBL and PSN offering RAW and Smackdown shows, would be fantastic! Lets hope Mr McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H agree and give this modern and more accessible viewing method, the green-light....
